How to learn Decorative Painting or One Stroke Painting?

One stroke painting is an art technique in which you can make beautiful paintings in just one stroke. You can achieve shading, highlighting, and blending in a single stroke movement. All you have to do is to load multiple colors on a single flat or angle brush and make beautiful paintings using simple brush stroke movements. This decorative painting art can be used on a variety of different surfaces such as glass, canvas, wood, paper, fabric etc.

One stroke painting technique is an easy to learn technique for beginners and experienced hands. If you have never painted before then also you can learn this technique easily with some practice. 

Details of the painting course:

One Stroke Painting Classes are offered for free exclusively to the Women of Andhra Pradesh. Usually we recommend painting on canvas/cotton fabric for beginners so as to get a hang of the technique. This is a relatively inexpensive and easy way of giving a new look to any stuff.In this course, you will be taught basic one stroke painting techniques.

Here’s what you’re going to discover with APSSDC Online Painting training:-

Day 1 – How to choose/prepare medium, brushes for painting surface, basic one stroke techniques and types.

Day 2 – Color mixing/blending, loading brush and Painting techniques.

Day 3 – Painting different designslike flowers, border designs or motifsand so on….

Flat–Faber-Castell Paint Brush Set

Size 0 or finer

Low quality flat brushes size :12/10, size: 6

 For Painting Surface: White Poplin Cotton Cloth (1 meter)/Cardboards/Canvas 

Boards/Canvasify Canvas Pads (10" x 12")

Camel artist acrylic color(Tube Paints – 12 shades)
